Paraphrase Pt. I : A Group Exhibition

A+ Works of Art is pleased to present “Paraphrase”, a two-part group exhibition spanning the months of May, June and July. The exhibition acts as a platform to draw in works displayed in off-site exhibitions by artists that we have worked with over the past few years, and to introduce new works by new and existing artists represented by the gallery. To paraphrase implies an origin from where an analogous account is produced. Many of these works speak to their origins, whether it be their prior situation in hotel rooms, biennales, convention centres or the prompts that incited them. This exhibition — as paraphrase — celebrates the opportunity for a re-viewing, with the potential turns that emerge out of their display in a new location with fresh companions.
