This series of drawings extends the artwork from the IC Project. The artist meticulously crafted each 'Island' or 'Land' using the silhouettes of the places where the interviewees had lived. They skillfully reassembled these silhouettes with soil to create new 'lands' or places, each uniquely tailored to the individual. These artworks aim to inspire a reevaluation of the concept of place. If we were to redefine our understanding of place, what new societal patterns could we envision and construct, drawing from our distinct life experiences?
