My art practice draws heavily from personal experiences. In my latest project, I aim to explore feeling lost, using the desert as a potent symbol. Within this project, I delve into the profound connection between people and the cosmos, particularly during times of uncertainty. The central concept revolves around the idea that when individuals are adrift, they often seek solace in the stars. However, I raise the question of whether astronomy dictates our lives or if it merely reflects our desires and aspirations.
In terms of visuals, my artwork combines the principles of astronomy with human organs. (For this set, it is a human egg.) I have chosen to title my artworks after nursery rhymes or fortune-telling rhymes that predict a child's personality or traits based on the day of the week they were born as the first set of my project.
