For the exhibition at A+ Works of Art I created a series of works that start from this

notion of distance and measurements and how that contributes to our perception of

our surroundings. The Size of Rice digs into measurements of objects, like a grain of

rice, as well as measurements between objects and the body.

I created four objects related to the concepts above. These objects I will give to four

dancers, with different ethnographic and traditional backgrounds in Indonesia. I will

ask each dancer to make a performance with the object according guidelines that I

will give to them. The performances were recorded and shown with the object.
