Resolute 2020 Series was created within a time of crisis and transition. Crisis because where I live inIndonesia, is lagging behind her neighbours in managing the Covid-19 pandemic, which has separated me from my family in Malaysia. Transition because in that crisis, I have made a conscious decision to follow my own intellectual and aesthetic path as an artist. The butterflies and beetles are an expression of this transition in crisis.
